Account Director for PR/Communications/Marketing (f/m) | Seesame

We are looking for an experienced consultant with more than 5 years of experience in communications, PR or marketing. He/she will strategically lead client teams, develop business opportunities and create engaging and meaningful communications for major Slovak and international brands,

Salary (gross): From €2,200 – €2,500 per month (depending on expertise and previous experience)

What will your day look like?

Our team consists of 6–8 people. Each Account Director works with 2–3 clients and leads 2–3 more junior colleagues who help develop these accounts together. We have been working with many of our clients for years, even decades, so we will first introduce you to their world and help you get up to speed. After that, you will have both the freedom and the responsibility to lead and grow these relationships further. You will shape your own daily schedule, which typically includes a mix of independent work, team meetings, and client meetings. You will also spend time on production outside the office, whether that means filming a video, preparing an event, or organizing a press conference.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • strategically lead a client account (or 2–3), maintain regular communication with clients across different levels of the organization (communications and marketing teams, company leadership, employees), manage assignments, and delegate work to junior team members as well as colleagues from the editorial, creative, and design teams
  • “sell” your ideas and recommendations with strong arguments and gain the support of senior decision-makers (company leadership, executives)
  • prepare strategic proposals and narratives and present them in solid Slovak and English
  • get your hands dirty when needed, whether that means writing a press release, coordinating the production of merch, or sometimes even arranging cupcakes on trays at an event
  • support and develop junior colleagues through good delegation and constructive feedback
  • manage campaign budgets and be responsible for delivering activities effectively
  • bring ideas for developing new client and business opportunities, and lead the preparation of strategic proposals and new business pitches

You will fit right in if you:

  • have a strong interest in communications and experience advising clients at different levels of an organization
  • have previous experience with PR, communication campaigns, events, or social media
  • are both a leader and a team player, with experience leading projects and people independently, while always being ready to support your colleagues
  • are reliable and follow through on commitments, whether it’s a deadline, the quality of delivered work, or coming to a team dinner
  • can manage your priorities and your calendar well, you understand that agency days rarely go exactly as planned and you can flexibly adjust your tasks to clients’ needs
  • are fluent in Slovak and English, as language is at the core of what we do
  • are a responsible, detail-oriented person, comfortable with project and financial management, and able to evaluate KPIs and prepare project reporting 😉
  • enjoy learning new things, follow trends and campaigns around you, look for inspiring ideas, and are curious to try new approaches
