Public relations and communications consultancy SEESAME Communication Experts posted record growth in 2008, with net agency fees up by 24.5 percent. In absolute terms, the agency fees reached EUR 1.746 million, ranking at the first place in the Association of Public Relations of the Slovak Republic according to net fee income. With a turnover of EUR 3.12 million, the fees of 56 % represent a high ratio of consultancy services and own added value on all agency revenues. ”Last year was a remarkable success for us. Thanks to the efforts of our whole team we were successful in several tenders for large clients, as well as smaller companies and projects. We have developed new skills and innovated services for our clients in the area of internal communication, development programs, online and social media. The solutions we offer today are important not only for their marketing campaigns, but also for internal processes, internal communication and change management,” says SEESAME Communication Experts Director Michaela Benedigová.
In 2008, the client portfolio grew to over 90 private companies as well as public institutions and organizations. Traditionally, the lion’s share consisted of companies in the FMCG area, pharmaceutical industry, construction & development, white & brown goods, energy and utilities, automotive industry & transport, waste management, IT&C as well as the financial sector. Last year, the agency consisted of 30 consultants. According to Benedigová, developments on the PR market in 2008 have shown that there is a still potential for growth in the area of communications for a company of this size. “We can equip our clients with quality know-how of an experienced team of senior consultants – innovativeness and an individual approach. “
“In the current economic climate, clients invest only in projects that have a proven impact in terms of results and stabilization, and maintaining the clients’ preferences and trust. Our new development and communication programs enable our clients to set up their internal processes and communication in such way that they are able to manage and positively adapt to new situations – changing environments, overall uncertainties and low confidence in business, worries about the economic crisis, etc. in their day-to-day work, and above all internal communication. In terms of communication, 2009 will mainly be about honest and transparent communication, about ‘core matters’ and building/regaining trust toward employees, clients, and their overall environment,“ said Benedigová.
