SEESAME Communication Experts has been on the Slovak public relations market for eleven years now, operating under the name Interel till March 2007. In 2007, the company’s net agency fees for PR services reached SKK 42.216 million (EUR 1.3 million), which represents an increase by 5% in comparison with 2006. The company’s 2007 turnover was SKK 70.197 million (EUR 2,16 million). Thus, SEESAME Communication Experts succeeded in retaining its position of a market leader. “Our new, fresh and young name brought to us new energy, dynamics and creativity. We managed to develop new products and services in the areas of training, internal communication and on-line PR. At the same time, our 2007 results demonstrate that success in the PR business is not only about the strength of a brand name, but first and foremost about the specific people, their professionalism and work results,” says Michaela Benedigová, the Managing Director of SEESAME Communication Experts. “With regard to the structure of our services and further development of our company, we regard the clients’ growing demand for education in PR, communication and business management to be an important factor in 2007 for us. While working with clients, we focused more on development of communication strategies. We have also devoted increased attention to enhancing the effectiveness of inward communication processes. The volume of our strategic consulting in the area of crisis and internal communication has increased, too. Last year, trainings and projects in this field represented 20% of the agency’s total revenues,” continued Michaela Benedigová.
In 2007, agency fees contributed 60.14% to the total turnover of SEESAME Communication Experts. On the Slovak PR market, this represents a high share of own added value on total services. Apart from developing its training division, in 2007 the company also focused on developing innovative communication tools and channels in the area of marketing communication, namely of the non-traditional support of the traditionally successful brands. This included community programs, direct communication with business partners, as well as a more intense use of online and other tools.
In 2007, the client structure of SEESAME Communication Experts included producers of beauty product and cosmetics (Henkel, Oriflame, Sholl, Durex), pharmaceutical companies (Wyeth, Abbott, Novartis, NovoNordisk, GlaxoSmithKline), construction and development businesses (Ballymore, BRAMAC), white and black goods producers (Electrolux, SONY), producers of foods and beverages (Kofola, Hubert, McDonald‘s), energy and networks industry companies (Transpetrol, ZSE, Shell), car-making and transportation businesses (SANEF, PSA Peugeot Citroën), waste management companies (ENVIDOM, SLICPEN), telecommunication technologies companies (Motorola) and the firms from the financial sector (Cash Reform Factoring). While retaining a high ratio of long-term clients, some of whom have cooperated with us since 1996, SEESAME Communication Experts also succeeded in attracting new renowned clients, such as Dell, E.ON Kraftwerke, Komerční banka, Lundbeck, mBank, Oriflame, TNT and UNICEF. In 2007, the agency’s staff consisted of an average of 28 consultants.
